The path of creation and accumulation In 1896, FEDDERS Manufacturing Co. was founded in Buffalo, New York by a German industrialist Mr Theodre C. Fedders. In 1928, with its experience in heat transfer, FEDDERS expanded its technology with the manufacturing of electric water coolers, unit heaters and coolers an d refrigeration components. |

In 1934, FEDDERS perfected non-frosting system for commercial refrigerators. In 1953, FEDDERS was the first to apply mass-production process to room air conditioner production and introduced first automatic reverse-cycle (heat pump) room air conditioner. In 1964, besides Air-conditioning system, FEDDERS also started making home appliances including refrigerators In 1995, FEDDERS entered into China and established manufacturing plant to manufacture air-conditioning system. In 2012, Singapore Hong Leong Asia Ltd.(HLA), a public listed company in Singapore, acquired the global rights to use FEDDERS brand.HLA will expand FEDDERS branding in air-conditioning and home appliances to business partners and residents in China and in other parts of Asia. |

In 2020, HLA and ALKKT started close cooperation. ALKKT is the production base, in charge of the production and sales of the units in Fedders.
